There were two hybrid geese out on the grass at Black Hill early this AM.
Appeared to be siblings, although somewhat different color pattern. For
example, one had an all-black bill, the other had some pink in the black. One of
these was the bird in the image posted this AM by Byron.
They appear to be Canada x domestic goose, with greylag goose heritage.
I am sending one image to Fran for possible posting on the MOS site. Anyone
wanting to see an image with a Canada for comparative size and both hybrids,
contact me off line.
