These are bird observations from downtown Baltimore, fall migration '04.
Most seem to be victims of lights on at night at buildings.
Note one day I saw a female common yellowthroat stuck under a hotel glass
awning at dawn. She stayed stuck all day. Nearby in some weedy garden
areas there was a male common yellowthroat. On other occasions downtown I
have found a dead common yellowthroat and one of the opposite sex hanging
around. Do they migrate in pairs?
