Hi Folks!
I have been watching the weather patterns this week with interest and will go out on a limb. On Saturday I plan to find a place on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay to do a sky watch. Fort Smallwood is already covered, so I want to find someplace else for comparison.
In addition to raptors, there should be a good movement of other birds. I will admit that my principal target is Swallow-tailed Kite and a secondary is Anhinga.
Inland locations would be those where there is a major ridge: the ridge along the eastern side of the Frederick Valley in Montgomery-Howard-Carroll or along the Fall Line from DC-Montgomery-Howard-Baltimore-Harford-Cecil.
I anticipate some interesting reports....
Good Birding!
