[MDOsprey] Short-eared owl in Fred. Co.

After looking for and finding the NORS at the Orndorff rd location last
evening, I was informed by another birder, who's name I didn't get, that
there was a SEOW on rte 76.
It was getting dark fast.  I rushed to rte 76 and proceeded west for
about 500 feet.  The SEOW was hunting the fields on both side of the
road. What a great sight!
This area is just north of the NORS site.  In fact, it is the next
intersection north of Orndorff road on Old Frederick rd.
CAUTION:  All the rain has made the shoulders a real quagmire.
