While birding in Charles County this morning, I observed a Brown Pelican =
in the Charles County portion of the Wicomico River.  It was sitting on =
the water fairly close to shore just off of Rock Point at the far end of =
Rock Point Road.  The time was about 11:20am.  After about 10 minutes, =
it headed off toward the Potomac River and St. Mary's County.  A =
pleasant viewing  surprise just prior to the coming downpour.
