[MDOsprey] Gull Season Opens at Conowingo

        On our way back from gawking once again at the Pacific Loon, Brian
Monk and I made a half-hour stop at Conowingo Dam on Thanksgiving Day.
About 500 gulls were present at the base of the dam, but the season is
officially open. Highlights included:

Bonaparte's Gull                20
Laughing Gull                   2
Lesser Black-backed Gull        3 (all adults)

        There were also 42 Bald Eagles in view, of which six were full adults.

        Let the games begin.
