[MDOsprey] Bethesda raptor report, 11/17

While working, my eyes were drawn to the window of my sixth story office
yesterday by--

A young medium-sized Cooper's Hawk circling (hunting?) shortly before 8
am....and...

A persistent Merlin around 2 pm, hunting Starlings around the Acacia/Air
Rights Building.  An American Crow chased it around that building; when
they both circled back the falcon was above and dove on it.  I saw the
Merlin almost catch a Starling.  (I have been bringing my binoculars to
work every day for a month or more).  

Otherwise it was work.
