There was a lot of bird activity between 8:00 and 8:30 this morning in
the trees facing east in the park area of Lake Roland. For those
unfamiliar with Lake Roland, it is located in Baltimore County just
north or the city limits. The morning highlights were Black-throated
Green (10), a Blackburnian, a Wilson's, several Chestnut-sided and
Magnolias as well as Rose-breasted Grosbeak (3), a Blue-headed Vireo and
Ruby-crowned Kinglets (4), my first this Fall.
