[MDOsprey] Smith Island

As I mentioned in response to Rob's message about the 
Monarch's we made the trip to Smith Island on Saturday.  
Enjoyed the wonderful company of the Mudd's and the 
Metter's.  We found nothing really extraordinary (except the 
crab cakes), but did want to mention how low the water was.  
We have only been to Smith 3 times, but I have never seen 
the water this low.  Flats were extraordinary and there were 
lots of herons and egrets, but not too many shorebirds.  
Harvey mentioned a warbler fall out on the island itself, and 
the two immature Yellow-crowned Night Herons were still 
prancing about, but we were not to be surprised by any 
unusual species.  Nevertheless, I thought the water levels 
worth mentioning.
