[MDOsprey] Mall birding, 9/20

The Mall has been quiet this fall.  I took a quick stroll this
morning, including Constitution Gardens and the DC Veteran' Monument.
The only big sightings were Marine 1 and 2, waiting for President
Clinton to fly somewhere!
   Migrants were relatively prosaic, with large flocks of swifts,
family groups of bluejays, etc.  Individuals of note were a catbird,
Brown Thrasher, Common Yellowthroat, American Redstart, and another
silent _Empidonax_ which looked like it might be a Willow Flycatcher.
Again, this last seems late to me.
