Hi All:
The action is beginning to heat up at Turkey Point as following: ( may be more
data coming in from other observers present in the late afternoon) ** First
Merlin of the season, Peregrines should happen anytime now. As always, BW
numbers are low. I anticipate the excellent RT and RS flights that we get a
little later in the season.
Very light winds from the south today.

Todays count should put us well over 400 tallied for the season thus far.
Observers through out the day - Harry Fisher, Sean McCandless , Gary Griffith,
Jim Stasz ( briefly during the afternoon ), John ?, friend and child from
Montgomery, an individual from Ellicott City and several from DOS in the
afternoon. Unfortunately, I was stuck indoors at work on this gorgeous day.
We have close to a full day coverage lined up for tomorrow. I would urge anyone
visiting the hawk watch to send data to RonK ( address above ) if there is no
official counter present.
Also, my husband, who is not given to watching warblers reports that " the place
was crawling with them."
Thanks, Leslie Fisher
