Picnic area 17+18, on Glover Road (?) south of / past the nature center. Take Georgia Avenue south from the Beltway, bear right on 16th Street, follow the latter maybe 3 miles; exit right on Military Road west (the sign is obscured by leaves and branches), at the first light turn left on Glover (?) Road. When the road forks, go left, pass the visitor's center, proceed straight at the stop sign, and at the first large clearing, park. If you end up at a rather large clearing with a corral fence you have gone too far. Take your maps when you set off. Directions should also be in Claudia Wilds's birdfinding guide.
