Coincidentally, it 'disappeared' near the time we began to have the eight
days or so of easterly winds associated with Hurricane Dennis at the end of
August.  And it was found again after those winds subsided on Tuesday.
Several observers were at Jones Point fishing area (north of Wilson Bridge)
during large parts of the Labor Day weekend and failed to note the pelican.
