10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. the shorebirds as advertised. A bit windy, but good light. Still three Buff-breasted Sandpipers and one Short-billed Dowitcher present. Lots of Pectorals, Semi Sands, Leastie Beasties, Killdeer and a few Semi Plovers. Ten or more Lesser Legs and a Stilt Sandpiper. I wiffed on Baird's and White-rumped, but that is as likely to be my lack of experience as to their non-presence. The four Blue-winged Teals still there also. Twice the whole flock (a couple of hundred birds), took to the air; once by overflight of a juvenile Harrier and the second time when a Coopers juvenile scouted the area. Lou Nielsen
