call from National Public Radio telling us that Chan Robbins
will be interviewed tomorrow for the "All Things Considered"
program. We do not know, however, if this segment will also
air tomorrow.

Hi all --
There is a "brief" story on the White Pelican in the "Metro in
Brief"
section of today's Washington Post, on page B3. The story notes the
presence of the bird in area waters, its discovery Aug. 17, and some
speculation on origin and when it may leave.
I'm sure a lot of boaters and fishermen have noticed Whitely, who is VERY
LARGE, VERY WHITE and obviously a pelican!
