Hi, |
I was at Ridgely Sewage Treatment Plant this afternoon from about 1:20 to
about 2:15 pm. Present there were all nine HUDSONIAN GODWITS, merrily
feeding in the right-hand impoundment, over halfway to the back end. Also
present at the STP:
Greater Yellowlegs--1
Lesser Yellowlegs--25+
Stilt Sandpiper--about 5
Dowitchers--3 or so way in the back
Least Sandpipers--several had green legs from feeding in the
greenish-colored left-hand impoundment
Semipalmated Sandpipers
Pectoral Sandpipers--maybe a dozen; they flew off in ones and threes while
I was there
Solitary Sandpiper--2
Spotted Sandpiper--1
N. Shoveler
Canada Goose
Mallard
Bank Swallow
Buckeye
Gulf Fritillary
Alfalfa Orange (Orange Sulfur)
Best,
