These are digital orthophoto quadrangles-basically udated USGS
quadrangle maps using statellite images. All you need to know are the =
latitude and longitude of the area you are looking. At the bottom of =
the first page enter the coordinates of the site in the following =
format: 38 47'50" N 77 01'53"W(the Wilson Bridge) would be +39 48 for =
lattitude and -77 02 for longitude- be careful to leave a space between =
degrees and minutes (you don't need seconds). Then click on search. On =
this new page click on Metadata Reference Information. At the bottom of =
this new page will be a listing of the maps available. There is an =
option to preview the photgraph. For the Wilson Bridge area there is a =
1994 color photo showing the various features including some feel for =
river depth.
