[MDOsprey] pelican-thurs? & directions

  Hi all.  I would like to try to find the pelican this afternoon.  Has
anyone seen it today (Thursday)?  Also, being born and raised in the
suburbs, I have difficulty navigating in the city (_especially_ in D.C..
Several times I have driven so far off course that I have attained the
famed 'vagrant species' status.  One guy spotted me and actually started
taking down notes!) 

  Can anyone provide simple directions to where I might spot this bird?  I
will be starting in College Park, so I can get to 295 south pretty easily.
