The following birds were seen in Carroll County today:

Liberty Lake:
	Great Blue Heron 10
	Great Egret 2
	Canada Goose 380
	Wood Duck 3
	Mallard 2
	Semipalmated Plover 1
	Killdeer 60
	Solitary Sandpiper 13
	Spotted Sandpiper 12
	Semipalmated Sandpiper 47
	Least Sandpiper 17
	Pectoral Sandpiper 12
	Ring-billed Gull 3

Westminster Reservoir:
	Great Egret 1
	Canada Goose 13
	Killdeer 45
	Solitary Sandpiper 1
	Spotted Sandpiper 6
	Semipalmated Sandpiper 1
	Least Sandpiper 3

New Windsor sewage ponds
	Wood Duck 26
	Killdeer 2

I also checked the Westminster airport and the turf farms at Taneytown and 
Winfield, but found no birds at any of these.  The turf is completely brown at 
Taneytown.  Liberty Lake is about 27 feet low and the best shorebird area is 
about to disappear down the gorge.
