To add to the recent shorebird reports, I had a few minutes after a meeting 
at Tuckahoe State Park today to visit the Ridgely Sewage Ponds:

Killdeer - 25
AMERICAN AVOCET - 3
Lesser Yellowlegs - 230
Stilt Sandpiper - 4
Solitary Sandpiper - 5
Spotted Sandpiper - 2
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 1
Least Sandpiper - 60
Pectoral Sandpiper - 1
Short-billed Dowitcher - 4

Obvious highlight were the 3 avocets, not listed for Caroline County in the 
most recent yellow book. Always lovely to see Stilt Sands in breeding plumage 
as well.
