In our yard, White-Throated Sps arrive sometime in the middle of Oct.
However, several years ago we had a non-singing Wht-throated sparrow in the
yard from the middle of July through the rest of the summer 'till the other
Wht-throats arrived. At that time someone speculated that the bird might have
been injured & never migrated in the first place. I watched the bird at every
opportunity and never noticed that it had a problem with flying.
