I have just looked at the Audubon Society's watchlist for Maryland-
http://www.audubon.org/bird/watch/state2/md.html
and noticed that the Acadian Flycatcher is listed as a high priority =
species of concern in the Maryland piedmont. This is contrary to my =
experience at McKee-Beshers in Montgomery county where they are common. =
They were the ninth most common species on my breeding surveys this =
year. I recorded them on 9 of my 10 routes and last Sunday 4 July heard =
10 of them. =20
I was wondering what other people think?
