An apparent Eurasian Collared-Dove was seen at 8:30 this morning (Weds.)
flying by the South Cape May Meadows, lost, then refound 20 minutes
later sitting on phone lines along Sunset Blvd a little west of the
Meadows parking lot. It very soon disappeared from there and as of late
morning has not been refound. If the bird is refound and settles in
somewhere, we'll post information to that effect. Such excitement....
(The only other bird of any great interest around Cape May is a
summering Iceland Gull in the Villas.)
