[MDOsprey] White-faced Ibis at Chincoteague 7/4/99 NOT

Birders --

Forgive the overlapping post for those on both listservs.  

We looked for the White-faced Ibis from 3:30 until 6:30pm on 7/4/99 with no 
luck.  There was one other birder  (I didn't get her name) looking also.  We 
scoped every Ibis on the mud flats at the NE side of the Wildlife Drive to no 
avail.  There were 4 Gull-billed Terns on the flats about where the 
White-faced should have been (!), together with Leasts and Forester's.  

Our trip to Chincoteague is over, so I hope others will have luck as we did 
in the days to come.
