All,

I braved the weather and went to Huntley this morning.  It wasn't
raining when I left home but by the time I got there, it was steadily
pouring.  I spent about an hour and a half huddled under the tower with
many other hopeful birders but no kites appeared. Best we could do was a
beautiful male hummer perched about 20 ft from the tower.  I left about
10:15.  Maybe tomorrow.
