Dave Larkin and I birded some places in Cecil county this morning. We first
stopped at Bethel WMA. We had good views of Moorhens there and heard a sora.
Along Middleneck Rd. we had 2 singing Vesper Sparrows, one on a power line.
At Gunther's Pond we found 7 species of shorebirds, along with a bank swallow
and 3 summer plumaged pipits. At Courthouse Point I finally found a CHAT!
Thanks to all who have sent me advice on where to find this bird.
