Ellen,
For what it's worth, I didn't take offense to your statement. I
understand the reasoning behind it and in a perfect world, I would take
your advice. Unfortunately, the closest specialty store near me is WBU in
Whitemarsh. I just don't get down that way. As soon as the Wildbird
Marketplace opens up again, I'll be there! I love that place!!! :-)
On the other hand, I did buy it from the first place I found it, and
will admit that while I went in the book store for something else( I love
B&N too!), I did peruse the wildlife section and bought it on impulse. (I
was under the impression the book wasn't due out for some time yet, so I
never expected to find it.)
And in Norm's defense, I think putting "grin" behind a sentence does
change the meaning. That's why we have emoticons. You can't hear the tone
of people's voices over a monitor so it's a good way to know when someone
is being light hearted. :-)
