Since there have been so many Mournign Warbler posts lately, I thought 
that I would screw up my courage, and report a Mourning Warbler heard, 
but not seen, at the C&O Canal near Violettes Lock on Sunday, May 9. When 
I first heard it, I immediately thought that it was a Mourning Warbler, 
but then thought, "No, probably a Kentucky." I listened to my Peterson CD 
at home, and confirmed that it was a Mourning.

There was also a Common Loon and a male Ruddy Duck on the Potomac in this 
area.
