Right by the building, there was a singing Scarlet Tanager. A = Hermit Thrush was farther along. On the right side of the boardwalk, we = scared a King Rail out in the open. Lots of Solitary Sandpipers were = around, a few Spotted and Least as well. The Common Moorhen was out = across from the tower. I heard a Yellow-throated Vireo behind the tower, = but couldn't find it. A Blue-headed Vireo flew into view for a moment. = On the way back, there was a Common Snipe, a Virginia Rail, and 2 Soras = all in the same area. In the parking lot, I saw one Blue-winged Warbler. = Not too much on the other side, but still Ruby-crowned Kinglets. With = the coots, there were 5 rails in all.
