A few years ago, attack turkeys - wild with rabies, were reported on a horse 
trail in the vicinity of Finksburg (Liberty Lake.) The woman who related the 
story, was in the riding party. She was certain that the birds had to be 
infected, else they wouldn't have persisted in their "attack."
