Phil
I just got a message from Larry Line about the Franklin's Gull at Captain John's. I read it before I saw
your message. I was off yesterday sick but would have chased this report. Franklin's Gull has never
been documented in Charles Co. Thanks for sending the information along. I will look in the am. I am
at work and can't leave today.
George

Hi Larry -
This is your friendly MD/DC Records Committee conscience speaking ... A
Franklin's Gull in Charles County is a "reviewable" species. It's in review
category 5E ...
5E. These species with restricted ranges in Maryland:
Franklin's Gull
Areas other than on the coastal plain west of the Chesapeake Bay (including
the
Susquehanna River up to Conowingo) from Anne Arundel and Prince George's
counties north.
Did you happen to take any field notes or photos of the bird? Or ...even more
important, did you call "Mr. Charles County", George Jett?
FYI. The MD/DCRC Review List and documentation checklist can be found on the
MOS web site at:

Thanks.
