Folks,

After the Kelpfest this morning, we ran into Doug, Lisa, and Gus Lister who
told of us of a large Lapland Longspur flock at Pax River NAS.  Doug kindly
arranged entrance for us and out on the tarmac we found at least 64 and up to
68 Lapland's in a single flock.  Also present were 45 Snow Buntings (separate
flock), a few Horned Larks, 8 or so Savannah Sparrows, at least 5 Meadowlarks
and 10 Common Snipe.  On behalf of Todd, Larry, and Holly, let me extend a
heartfelt Thank You to Doug for his help in finding these beasties.
