Howdy All!

Quickie Update:  Just returned from a Birthday Birding Bonanza
this weekend in Colorado.  I saw 32 absolutely gorgeous all-white
WHITE-TAILED PTARMIGANs at Guanella Pass and a single
BROWN-CAPPED ROSY-FINCH in Gunnison to bring the year total to
715!!!  I also participated in the Gunnison Christmas Bird Count
on Saturday, met some truly friendly birders, and had a wonderful
time.

P.S.  It was c-c-c-cold.  All the residents were complaining how
abnormally warm it was. <grin>
