Birds at Piney Run

The following birds were seen at Piney Run Park, Carroll County on 
Saturday, October 10, 1998:

	12  Pied-billed Grebes
	1   Horned Grebe
	1   Double-crested Cormorant
	1   Great Egret
	2   Wood Ducks
	3   Green-winged Teal
	1   Gadwall
	7   Wigeon
	7   Ring-necked Ducks	
	1   Lesser Scaup
	1   Osprey
	30  Coots
	1   Nighthawk
	15  Tree Swallows
	1   Blue-headed Vireo	
	2   Myrtle Warblers
	2   Black-throated Green Warblers
	1   Indigo Bunting
	1   Swamp Sparrow

		Both kinglets were common and a few accipiters were 
migrating.
