Hi all:
Found a flock of 40 + Horned Larks and 2 American Pipits in field across
from my house this am.  As they took flight, could see white outer tail
coverts in  latter, plus distinctive call.  I will have to check this
field regularly, has strips of corn, 1-2" grass, plowed with very sparse
grass, etc.  Have had above species here regularly in past.  Maybe I can
pick up some real goodies with a little diligence on my part.
