Virginia Rail at the Smithsonian Institution

Yes, the Virginia Rail is still here, still among the yews along
Independence Avenue alongside the National Museum of African Art,
and still more secretive and rail-like.  I saw it on Friday and
this morning, each time early (pre-7:00 AM, on my walk in).
It's also still looking plump and well.
