Marcia Whitmyre & I birded TP from 7 - 9 am, the place was alive with
warblers. There was so much movement it was very distracting trying to
pick a bird to focus on. No doubt there was 10x in there than
definitively I.Ded.
Best bird- Brewsters W.- lifer for me.
Funniest sighting- a bunch of freeloading gulls taking a river cruise on
some gravel piles on a barge.
Bobolinks-5
Blue-wing W.- 1
Nashville W.- 2
Parula W.- 5
Black-and White W.- 2
Chestnut-sidedW.- 1
Magnolia W. - 20
Canada W. - 1
Am. Redstart- 8
Caspian Tern- 6
I will be posting results from the TP Hawk Watch every Monday, plus any
other day I happen to be out there. We usually begin to get some good
flights around this time of year, so c`mon out.
Good Birding
