I found the Virginia Rail this morning, August 13, at 9:00 AM, in the yews that line the wall along the Independence Ave. sidewalk. The areas to search for the rail thus include the area around the Enid Haupt Garden waterfall, the north and west sides of the National Museum of African Art, the main gate from the garden to Independence Ave., and the shrubs that line the wall on Independence Ave., along the side of the National Museum of African Art.
