We usually have plenty of bats here in Adelphi, at least two kinds 
(larger and smaller) but this year we haven't seen even one!  Has anyone 
else noticed a dearth of bats?  It can't be a lack of prey bugs since 
the yard is full of swallows, swifts, and martins.  Hutch
