If you are a veteran of Ocean City pelagic trips run on the "Judith M", 
I regret to report that Owner/Captain Linwood Martens was killed in an 
airplane crash near Ocean City this past weekend. Linwood was the 
Captain for our ill-fated trip that never left the dock due to bad 
weather at the last MOS Convention in Ocean City.

Linwood was a kind and considerate man, he was always easy to work with. 
He was an experienced fishing Captain who had developed an interest in 
seabirds over the years. His presence will be missed in Ocean City.
