Fran and I skipped down to Hains point at lunch today (Friday, 29 May) where 
we ran into Howard Elitzak *AND* the bird in question.  We watched it closely 
for about 45 minutes at points along the shoreline very close to the 14th Street 
Bridge.  

Patting ourselves on the back and shaking Howard's hand, we slunk back to our 
offices to finish off the week.
