Pacific loon update

Hi everyone -

I got wonderful looks at the Pacific Loon between 12:15 - 1:00 pm this 
afternoon. The loon was swimming up and down the channel just opposite the 
marina, only 5-15 feet off the seawall. At one point the loon was preening, 
giving an excellent opportunity to see all the field marks. While standing at 
the rail, we even saw the bird swim by underwater!

Get down to Hains Point if you can...
