May 1st the "traditional" date for Rose-breasted Grosbeaks to drop into our
Anne Arundel County (MD) feeders.  Have not seen one yet, but did have one
female EVENING GROSBEAK visit the feeders at least twice today (Friday May
3). More than a fair trade!

(Mark Hoffman was over this morning for some Records Committee business
...he was able to enjoy it, too!)
