Observations from Allegany County Saturday 4/4.  Light rain, breezy,
chilly (high 30s).

McCagh's Pond (Mason Road):

Bufflehead		3  (2 M, 1 F)
American Coot		1
Bonaparte's Gull	1

Rocky Gap:

Tree Swallow		Several dozen
R-Breasted Merganser	2 Females
Ruddy			5 ( 2 M, 3 F )
Horned Grebe		2
Ring-billed Gull	8 ( Most adult )
Chipping Sparrow	1

Potomac River at Cumberland:

Ring-billed Gull	13 ( Adult except 1 or 2 1st winter )
American Kestrel	1 Male ( Witnessed successful kill but couldn't 			  
see what it got )
