Howard, Tom -- thanks for the Sligo Creek note.  It is certainly 
close enough for use to check quite often.  We did go off to 
Frederick several times last fall, but perhaps we left our visit 
to too late in the season.  We will no doubt try Oland Road 
again, as well as Sligo Creek.

Fred -- we'd love to join you some day when the herons are in 
residence.  Let us know. 

Which reminds me, PWRC used to give wonderful special tours.  
Norm and I took one quite early in our birding careers.  Are 
they still offering these?
