'Tis the season for web site updates.  Two important items can 
be found at the Maryland Ornithological Society web site this 
month.  First, find out how you can influence the Hart-Miller 
Island restoration.  More information on this important project 
will be forthcoming in the next week.

Second, MOS  is proud to present a preview copy of the Maryland 
Partners In Flight publication, " Land Management for the 
Benefit of Birds in Maryland."  You won't want to miss this 
guide to managing land to support bird-friendly habitat.

After you preview this marvelous publication, available in final 
form in early 1998, you may wish to browse the site for the 
monthly birding site quiz update or other items of interest to 
MD birders.
