At the Forsythe NWR there were lots of Snow Geese, Canada Geese, Brant,
Coots and Dunlin. I managed to miss most of the exotic birds at Cape May
but I did see the long earred owls with some help. The CMBO speculation
is that the Brown-Chested Martin is dead. There were reports on Monday
of the White-Wing and Red Crossbills flying, Cave Swallows, the Western
Tanager, the Western Kingbird , the Nashville Warbler and the
MacGillvery's Warbler, but I managed to get the locations where they were
spotted at the wrong time.
