Thank you for the note on the wild turkeys.  We will certainly 
attempt to find them in the next couple of weeks.  And I promise 
that the only target is my Calvert County Bird List.

Norm and I have been spending most of the summer visiting areas 
of Maryland we have neglected in the past and building up our 
county lists.  Not only have we discovered some very beautiful 
sites, but birding in this way has brought back some of the 
excitement I remember from the very first years we birded.  Even 
the most common bird siting  becomes a cause for celebration.

Since I am not a native, I especially enjoy these treks and 
recommend them to all.
