The grounds feature open fields, formal gardens, brushy tangles and a small wooded area. I joined Jim on Saturday (11/01) and we tallied forty-three species in five hours. Sparrows were represented by 126 Chipping, 3 Field, 14 White-throated, and 12 Song Sparrows. We also saw 5 Purple Finch, 6 Carolina Wren, 1 Eastern Phoebe, both Kinglets and a Brown Thrasher.
