I was at Violettes 7AM -2PM, SW corner of Little Seneca Res. by the bridge 2PM till 4PM, when I chickened out. The winds were still NE. Ahead of Fran 1996, the Sooties appeared about when the wind went to SE 35, when the eye was near Charlottesville. This time I guess it will happen before or near dawn tommorow. Will try to get to the big part of the lake in the morning, then Seneca or Violettes if accessible. Don't think we will go to Rocky Gap, though that might be the best. The day the Sooties were at Little Seneca, we then drove to Rocky Gap and spent the last half hour before dark, saw nothing. The remnants went over Garrett in the night. We checked many sections of Deep Creek and Broadford Lakes the next morning, and saw nothing. One or two Black-caps were recovered from a lake in PA, just over the Garret Line, so birds DID drop out on the way to Lake Erie Dave Czap ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
